Rimac Nevera HMI Details
Rimac knows what the Nevera is capable of and they didn’t want all that potential going to waste… so they introduced an AI driver to coach owners as to how to get the most out of their car on track while honing their driving skills.
What this AI coach does, essentially, is judge your performance. Once judged, you receive precise audio and visual guidance on how to maximise the potential of the car, improving your braking, acceleration and various other aspect of circuit driving. In order to achieve this the AI employees 12 ultrasonic sensors, 13 cameras, 6 radars, and the latest NVIDIA Pegasus operating system.
In order to relay this information the interior includes three high definition TFT screens, one interface sits directly in front of the driver, the screens are configurable to show the information you want but by default the drivers screen shows critical real time information such as speed, power usage and charge. The second interface in the centre console allows the driver to operate navigation, climate control, entertainment options, phone connectivity etc. while the third smaller interface sits directly in front of the passenger, gamifying the passenger experience by displaying more exciting information such as speed and G-Force meter.
In addition to the screens the interior includes tactile controls such as beautiful aluminium dials with embedded screens enabling the driver to change between one of the seven different driver modes while on the move. Sport, Range, Track, Comfort and Drift with two additional custom modes to allow you to mix and match to find your perfect set up.
The interior of the Rimac Nevera also allows for solid connectivity and has a mobile app. The tech system is called Rimac M2M and connects the user with the vehicle through an intuitive app that drivers can later use to see performance data. Of course, the system also allows for real-time usability and tracking. You can use it to monitor your GPS location, charging speed, and battery status on both Android and IOS.
