Mercedes EQXX Concept HMI
HMI Design
Mercedes EQXX HMI Details
The interior of the Mercedes Vision EQXX is made entirely of vegan-friendly materials and features a gigantic 47.5-inch screen that stretches the full width of the vehicle, a nod to the company’s new Hyperscreen infotainment display. Unlike the Hyperscreen, the Vision EQXX’s screen is a one-piece 8K display that features an avatar personal assistant as a ‘road-trip sidekick’.
Mercedes is working with a company called NAVIS Automotive Systems to develop “the first realtime 3D navigation system” on a screen of this size. This novel navigation system will enable seamless zoom and scroll functions from satellite view down to a height of 10 meters using conventional pinch and swipe gestures in the 3D city representation.
